Elmer Fudpucker Cake image

This is a delicious cake with a wonderful blend of ingredients from the Friends of Citizens Savings Cookbook. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 (18 ounce) box lemons or 1 (18 ounce) box orange cake mix
1/2 cup liquid shortening
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup apricot brandy
3/4 cup apricot nectar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vodka
2 teaspoons apricot nectar
2 teaspoons brandy

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Beat for 4 minutes.
  • Pour into well-greased and floured angel food pan or bundt pan.
  • Bake 45-50 minutes at 350°F.
  • Mix and heat glaze ingredients and pour over cake.
