EDAMAME WITH SCALLIONS AND SESAME image

Number Of Ingredients 8

12 oz bag of frozen shelled edamame
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1/2 water
1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp vegetable oil
dash of hot pepper sauce
2 tbsp. finely chopped scallions
1/8 tsp ground pepper

Steps:

  • Bring the edamame, soya sauce, and water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 12 minutes, or until tender. If any liquid remains, cook, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat. Stir in the oils, hot-pepper sauce, scallions, and pepper.
