Easy Chicken Pie image

This is a good way to use leftover cooked chicken. It is easy to make and very satisfying to eat.

3 c cooked chicken, diced
1 c chicken broth
1- 10 oz pkg frozen mixed vegetables, of your choice
1 regular can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 c self rising flour
1 c milk
1/2 c butter or margerine, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
  • 2. Distrbute chicken and vegetables in dish.
  • 3. Stir together the chicken broth, soup, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over chicken mixture.
  • 4. Combine flour, milk and butter and stir until smooth.
  • 5. Pour over mixture in baking dish. Bake 40-50 minutes or until lightly browned.
