Easy Apple-Raisin & Shortbread Pie image

How easy is this apple-raisin pie? It's prepared with a ready-made crust, sprinkled with crushed shortbread cookies and ready for the oven in 20 minutes.

2/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca
1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 Granny Smith apples (1-1/2 lb.), peeled, thinly sliced
1/3 cup golden raisins
1 (9 inch) frozen deep-dish pie crust
8 square shortbread cookies, crushed (about 2/3 cup)
8 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix sugar, tapioca and cinnamon in large bowl. Add apples and raisins; toss to coat.
  • Spoon into pie crust; top with cookie crumbs.
  • Bake 50 min. or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Transfer to wire rack. Let stand 15 min. before serving topped with COOL WHIP.
