This is soooo very easy, and once again one of our favorite camping dutch oven recipes. With just 4 ingredients, it's quick to throw together. Steps:
- 1. pour the can of pie filling into the dutch oven
- 2. pour the cake mix on top of the pie filling--do not mix them up
- 3. place 2 or 3 pats of butter on top
- 4. sprinkle with cinnamon if you would like
- 5. Cover the oven--place about 15-20 charcoal briquets on top of the oven and about 8-12 underneath
- 6. bake for 20 minutes give or take remember to check often so the cake doesn't burn
