Drop Sugar Cookies image

Love these drop cookies. The powdered sugar gives the cookies a nice crisp, but soft centers.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c butter, softened
1 c canola oil
1 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 c powdered sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cream of tartar
4 1/2 c all purpose flour

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl cream butter, oil, sugar, salt and powdered sugar together.
  • 2. Add eggs, and vanilla. Then mix your baking soda & cream of tartar into your flour. Slowly add the dry ingredients to egg mixture until nice and creamy and thick.
  • 3. With a medium cookie scoop, scoop dough on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 12 minutes or a little longer if you like them more golden like I do.
