DONUTS A LA YOHANN image

Number Of Ingredients 7

440 ml milk
100 g melted butter
75 g caster sugar
4 eggs
20 g fresh / 10 g dried yeast
600 g plain flour
100 g cinnamon sugar

Steps:

  • Warm up the milk to approximately 40°C. Add the melted butter, caster sugar and the eggs. Mix well. Then add the yeast and mix again. Sift in the flour and mix up the batter until it is smooth in consistency. Leave it to prove for about 30-45 minutes. Drop teaspoon size blobs into 170°C oil 7 fry for 3 - 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oil & place directly into a plate filled with cinnamon sugar. Roll them around so that each donut is evenly coated with the sugar.
