Dick's Bloody Mary Mix image

I tended bar in college at Dick's bar in Hudson, Wisconsin. This was their custom recipe for the BEST bloody mary ever! This makes enough mix for a very busy bar. Mix all ingredients and add vodka to taste.

5 gallons tomato juice
2 cups orange juice
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle dark beer
1 cup dill pickle juice
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 cup salsa
½ cup prepared horseradish
½ cup concentrated beef base (paste)
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons celery salt
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste

Steps:

  • Stir tomato juice, orange juice, dark beer, dill pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, salsa, horseradish, beef base, black pepper, celery salt, and hot pepper sauce in a large container until beef base and celery salt have dissolved.
