Dense Super Moist Yellow Cake - Dense Vanilla Flavored Butter Cake! image

Super moist dense vanilla flavored yellow butter cake is so delicious, simple and so easy to make, it has been my go to yellow cake recipe.

1.5 cups all purpose flour ((plus a little extra flour for dusting the pan))
1.5 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened )
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1/2 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 drops yellow food color (optional) (or use according to package instructions)
