Dairyland Country Casserole image

How to make Dairyland Country Casserole

Number Of Ingredients 11

8 ounces butter noodles
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 cups tomato sauce
1 1/8 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 green pepper, diced
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Make noodles as instructed on package. Set aside.
  • Brown beef, drain. Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Combine cheeses and sour cream.
  • Butter a large casserole dish. Pour in half of the noodles. Add cheese and cream mixture and cover with remaining noodles. Top with beef mixture. Drizzle melted butter over top.
  • Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
