CROCKPOT SIRLOIN TIPS WITH ONIONS image

This is a great cool-weather recipe to fix on a lazy weekend. Just put this on in the morning and let it cook all day while you spend your day doing whatever you please. Then enjoy a warm and tasty meal of beef tips paired with your favorite side and hot bread then enjoy a good movie. What could be more relaxing.

1 - 2 lb sirloin tip steak, cut into cubes
1/2 c flour
2 c fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion, cut into large pieces
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) beef broth
salt and pepper to season

Steps:

  • 1. Lightly salt and pepper the beef tips and put them in a bowl with the flour. Stir until beef is covered with the flour.
  • 2. Combine the other ingredients in the Crockpot. Mix well.
  • 3. Add the beef tips and whatever flour is left, if any, to the Crockpot; stir to combine.
  • 4. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until steak is tender.
  • 5. Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes or even toasted bread.
