Crockpot Chicken Cordon Bleu image

Chicken thighs went on sale and I had a little this and a little that and Viola! My family calls it chicken kimmie.

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 - chicken thighs
6 slice(s) swiss cheese
6 ounce(s) ham
8 ounce(s) mushrooms
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
2 pinch(es) garlic or garlic powder
2 pinch(es) onion or onion powder
2 tablespoon(s) white wine, medium

Steps:

  • lightly brown chicken in skillet, remove to crockpot. Layer ham and swiss over chicken
  • deglaze pan with white wine or stock your choice. Add soup, mushrooms and seasonings
  • Pour soup mixture over ingredients in crock pot. Put on lid and set on high for 4 hours. Serve over wild rice.
