Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin image

This recipe sounds crazy, and my family looked at me like I'd lost my mind when I told them what I'd put in it, but it really does taste fantastic. The grapes I used were too tart to be eaten by themselves. I use an immersion blender, but you can use a regular blender or food processor if you'd like.

Time 5h

Yield 2 pork tenderloins, 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 (3 lb) package pork tenderloin, plain (should be two in a package)
1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 cup water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
2 cups red seedless grapes, halved (these don't have to be sweet)
salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Combine cranberry sauce and water in crockpot, cutting to spread the cranberry sauce evenly. Add bouillon cubes, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Scatter grapes throughout sauce.
  • Place tenderloins on top of sauce mixture, and season with salt and pepper if desired. Cook in crockpot, on high, for 3.5 hours.
  • Remove pork from crockpot. Using immersion blender, blend sauce until mostly smooth. (You'll have some grape skin that is difficult to blend but it's very tender.).
  • Return pork to crockpot, and continue cooking for 45 minutes.
