Crock Pot Cubed Venison image

This recipe is from a "Calling All Cooks" local phone company cookbook. When I made it I was snowed in and all out of fresh veggies, so instead of the onion and bell pepper, I just added Mexican tomatoes for some flavor.

1 1/2 lbs venison, cubed
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup flour
1 large onion, sliced
1 (1 lb) can tomatoes
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 green pepper, sliced
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms

Steps:

  • 1. Mix salt and pepper.
  • 2. Coat venison and place in crock pot.
  • 3. Mix other ingredients and cover venison.
  • 4. Cook on Low for 6-7 hours.
  • 5. Serve with rice.
