Crock Pot Bone Broth image

You'll never want store bought broth again after tasting this.

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 lb beef femur bones
1 large onion cut in half
1 head garlic broken in cloves peeled
6 stalk(s) celery chopped into pieces
4 large carrots cut into pieces
2 turkish bay leaves
1 bunch parsley stems
1 bunch fresh thyme
4 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp salt
water just to cover

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in large crock pot. Cook on low 16 hours. With tongs remove bones and large pieces of veggies and discard. Strain the broth through fine mesh strainer. Freeze or refrigerate
