Crock-Pot Apple Pie image

I love cooking in the Crock-Pot.

Number Of Ingredients 12

8 - granny smith apples, thinly sliced
1 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon(s) allspice
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
3/4 cup(s) fat-free milk
2 tablespoon(s) light butter, softened
3/4 cup(s) sugar
2 - eggs
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 1/2 cup(s) bisquick, divided
1/3 cup(s) brown sugar
3 tablespoon(s) cold butter

Steps:

  • Lightly grease slow cooker
  • In the slow cooker - toss apples with cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg
  • In a large mixing bowl - Combine milk, softened butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and 1/2 cup of the Bisquick
  • Spoon this mixture over the apples
  • In a seperate large mixing bowl - Combine the remaining Bisquick with the brown sugar
  • Cut cold butter into Bisquick mixture until crumbly
  • Sprinkle this mixture on top
  • Cook and cover on low for 6 to 7 hours or until apples are soft
