Crispy Haddock Fillets Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 lbs. fresh haddock or other skinless fillets
1/3 c milk
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 c crushed cornflakes (3 c cereal)
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted

Steps:

  • Wipe fillets with a damp cloth; cut into serving size pieces. In a small bowl combine milk, salt, and pepper. Dip fish into milk mixture; then roll in crushed flakes. Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over tops. Bake, without turning, in a 450 degree oven for 15 minutes or till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
