CREME A LA CREME image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 envelope gelatin
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
accompaniments: grenadine syrup and fresh berries

Steps:

  • Mix together all ingredients in a sauce pan. Let stand 10 minutes. Heat over medium heat untim gelatim disolves. Remove from heat and cool. Add sour cream and vanilla and whisk to blend. Pour into mold (1 1/2 quart) amd refrigerate till set (8 hours). Unmold and spoon grenadine syrup over top. Serve with berries.
