CREAMED HAM CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 Cups of Water
2 Tablespoons of Butter
1 Small Onion, Chopped (white)
1/2 Green Pepper, Chopped
1 4 oz. Can of Sliced Mushrooms, Drained
1 Can of Tender Chunk Ham, Chopped
1 Tablesppon of Lemon Juice
1 Cup of Sour Cream
2 Cups of Cooked Noodles (spiral)

Steps:

  • In a large pot, bring 8 Cups of Water to boil. Pour in 2 Cups of Uncooked Noodles (spiral) Boil noodles for 10 minutes and drain in a colander. Chop 1 Small Onion (white) and 1/2 Green Pepper. Open 1 4 oz. Can of Sliced Mushrooms and drain. Open 1 Can of Tender Chunk Ham and chop. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook the chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and mushrooms in butter over medium head until tender (about 5 minutes). Stir in chopped ham, lemon juice, and sour cream. Continue to heat on medium for 3 minutes. Arrange half of the cooked noodles in a 1 and 1/2 quart casserole dish. Pour in the ham mixture. Top with remaining noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
