Cranberry Horseradish Sauce image

This zippy sauce is pretty as well as tasty. It will go well with a Christmas turkey or prime rib dinner. It even goes well with a pork loin dinner. Do add this sauce to your holiday table!

4 cups cranberries, picked over and rinsed
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons white-wine vinegar
1 tablespoon drained bottled horseradish
1 cup walnuts, toasted lightly and chopped fine

Steps:

  • In a food processor, coarsely chop the cranberries and transfer them to a bowl. Add the sugar, vinegar and horseradish and toss the mixture well.
  • Chill the mixture, covered, for 30 minutes and stir in the walnuts. Serve the sauce as as accompaniment to turkey, pork or beef.
