PUNCH
1 bottle champagne, prosecco or other sparkling white wine (bottle size = a fifth)
56 oz ginger ale, chilled (diet is ok)
1 qt orange juice, chilled
32 oz cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
ICE RING
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1/2 c fresh or frozen cranberries
3/4 c orange juice
3/4 c cranberry juice
3/4 c water

Steps:

  • 1. 6 hours before serving and while juices are chilling, make the ice ring. Layer lemon and orange slices in a ring mold and scatter cranberries in between. Then mix together the cranberry juice, orange juice and water, and pour the liquid over the fruit. Freeze the ring mold until firm.
  • 2. Mix all 4 punch ingredients in a large punchbowl with the ice ring.
  • 3. (In a hurry - use ice cubes.)
