Cornbread Using Jiffy image

A friend shared this recipe. It's extremely easy and the best cornbread ever!

Number Of Ingredients 6

3/4 c butter, room temperature
16 oz sour cream
6 eggs
15 oz creamed corn
1/4 c sugar
4 box small jiffy boxes

Steps:

  • 1. Mix wet ingredients and add Jiffy mix and blend well.
  • 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes in a 9x13 greased pan. Test doneness with a toothpick in the center.
  • 3. Let cool for 20 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
  • 4. Note: it may be necessary to remove some of the batter before baking. Mine overflowed in the oven.
