Conchas image

I grew on conchitas a traditional mexican household dish..you can add any cheese you like or even with out. There are so many variations hope you enjoy

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 bag(s) conchas little pasta shells
1/2 can(s) tomato sauce
4 c chicken broth
2 c water
1 Tbsp cumin
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp veg oil
monterey jack cheese

Steps:

  • 1. add oil to heated pot and add shells and brown up lightly
  • 2. then add your tomato sauce and broth along with seasonings bring to a boil then lower and simmer until pasta shells are tender
  • 3. last add your monteray jack cheese in cubes let sit until melted..
