Steps:
- Brown sausage. Add a pinch of the savory seasonings. Drain. Set aside. Peel potatoes. Cut into quarters and boil till soft. Drain. Mash with milk, butter, and salt and pepper to taste. In an 8"x 8" pan, spread the drained sauerkraut on the bottom. Spread sausage evenly over the sauerkraut. Top with mashed potatoes, making sure to seal the mash to the sides of the pan. Grate Parmesan on top. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
