Number Of Ingredients 20

CRUST:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups flour
Cut butter into flour and salt and press into a 9" pie pan.
FILLING:
4 cups fresh sliced peaches
1 cup sugar, divided
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
TOPPING:
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Combine until crumbly.

Steps:

  • Slice peaches into a bowl, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand while preparing rest of filling. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, egg, salt and vanilla. Fold in sour cream. Stir into peaches and pour into crust. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees then bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle topping over pie. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Best peach pie you have ever tasted.
