Coconut Pound Cake image

For the coconut lover, an easy to make delicious cake.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg coconut cream instant pudding or vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
1 c water
1/4 c oil
1 c coconut

Steps:

  • 1. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil in large bowl. Blend; then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  • 2. Stir coconut into batter.
  • 3. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan or Bundt pan.
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly pressed. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan; cool on rack. Serve with a lemon glaze or frost with a coconut frosting.
