Steps:
- Preheat oven at 350*. Lightly grease two baking sheets or line with parchment. In medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, baking powder, espresso, vanilla and salt. Add eggs, beating until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, then flour; dough will be stiff. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop about 1/1/2" balls onto sheets. Bake 12 minutes.They may not look like they are done in center. Remove from oven and allow to cool 10 minutes. Squeese and shape into uneven balls, to resemble chunks of coal.
