1 Tbsp. oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup chopped green peppers
1 lb. lean ground beef
1-1/2 cups HEINZ Tomato Ketchup
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. black pepper
8 sandwich buns

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions and green peppers; cook 5 min., stirring frequently. Crumble meat into skillet; cook 10 min. or until evenly browned, stirring frequently.
  • Drain meat mixture; return to skillet. Add all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon meat mixture into buns just before serving.
