- In large bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; beat until blended. Shape dough into a ball. Cover; refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 9 (3-inch) tart pans with cooking spray. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using 4-inch round cutter, cut dough into 9 rounds. Press rounds in bottoms and up sides of tart pans.
- In medium bowl, stir together preserves, dates, nuts, brown sugar and allspice. Spoon filling into dough-lined pans.
- Place pans on large cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until golden. Cool completely on cooling rack. Gently remove from pans. Sprinkle tarts with powdered sugar.
