CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup flour
2 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
6 tabl. milk
1 1/2 tabl. melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sugar
4 tabl. cocoa
1 1/2 hot water

Steps:

  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, add brown sugar. Add milk and butter. Mix thoroughly. Add nuts and spread in a 8 X 8 ungreased pan. Combine cocoa and sugar and spread over batter. Pour hot water over top. Bake 40 minutes in 350 F oven.
