Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Dump the ingredients into a bowl, and using your fingers mix until crumbly. 2. Press into the bottom of the cake pan, and bake about 20 minutes, until lightly brown and the crust has little crooked cracks running through like a creek. Cream Cheese Filling For Nut Crust Torte 1. Combine the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, and beat on high speed until well blended and smooth. Basic Chocolate Pudding 1. Pour the milk into a heavy large saucepan, add the chocolate, and heat until the chocolate melts. 2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt, and mix, using your fingers. 3. Gradually add this to the hot milk mixture, and stir constantly using a whisk. Cook on medium heat about 5 minutes, until thick and smooth. 4. Mix in the vanilla, stir, and remove from heat. Fresh Whipped Cream 1. Pour a cup of fresh cream into a bowl and using an electric mixer, beat on high speed until thick. (Don't go too far or you'll end up with butter.) 2. Turn the mixer on low, and gradually fold in the sugar and vanilla. Beat until the cream is fluffy and can stand in soft peaks. (Do not overbeat.) Chocolate Torte 1. Prepare a Nut Crust and the Cream Cheese Filling. Spread 1 batch of Basic Chocolate Pudding on top of the Cream Cheese Filling. and top with Fresh Whipped Cream and a few sprinkles of grated chocolate bar or choclate chips.
