Steps:
- i do half the recipe and make 8, pat to about a 7 inch square, cut in 4 and then in triangles. This may bother my GI? but had before lunch, so maybe that's why? MS scones are lighter, but m and d both prefer this base. Made b/b, this with the dried strawberries, and i did 1/2 cup of those, and MS with blueberries. I also double the sugar in this (i already updated above, orig calls for 2 T for 4 cups flour). I really love this, much better than ms at least when did that with blueberries. I hope it doesn't bother me. Would be great i think also with dried blueberries (i think real like did in MS make soggy), or cranberries, or chocolate chips. Did also with 1/2 cup nestle semi chips and loved better than with dried strawberries but do keep cup flat not heaped.
