CHICKEN TORTELLINI SOUP image

Yield 10 bowls

Number Of Ingredients 13

9oz frozen cut broccoli, thawed
6 cups water
3 (103/4oz.) cans condensed chicken broth
10 3/4oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 C cubed, cooked chicken
1 C chopped onions
1 C sliced carrots
1/2 C dry vermouth or water
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 t basil leaves
1/2 t oregano leaves
7 oz cheese tortellini
grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large saucepot combine water, chicken broth, soup, chicken, onions, carrots, vermouth, garlic, basil and oregano. Bring to a boil, add tortellini. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Add broccoli. Simmer an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Serve with cheese
