Cheesecake Baked Apples Recipe by Tasty image

Here's what you need: cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, egg, honeycrisp apple, whipping cream, maple syrup, crushed pecan, graham cracker

Number Of Ingredients 10

8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 honeycrisp apple, or apple of your choice
1 cup whipping cream
¾ cup maple syrup
½ cup crushed pecan
graham cracker, crushed

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Hollow the apple with a melon baller.
  • Fill ⅔ of hollowed apple with cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes at 176˚C (350˚F).
  • For maple pecan sauce, boil whipping cream and maple syrup until thick. Stir in pecans just before serving.
  • Serve with crushed graham cracker (optional) and maple pecans sauce.
  • Enjoy!
