How to make Cheese Bisquick Biscuits

Number Of Ingredients 9

2c Bisquick
3/4 c shredded cheddar cheese (or try; monterey, colby, jack or mozzarella)
Diced peppers -to taste
1/2 c water
1/2 c butter-melted
1/2 t Italian Seasoning
1/2 t Garlic Salt
1/2 t Dried Parsley
flour (just enough for on the counter)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven 450 degrees
  • In Med bowl, mix together; bisquick, cheese, peppers,and water.IF NEEDED, add a touch more water, to make a soft ball.
  • Flour your hands lightly and turn dough onto floured countertop.Pull apart dough into 10 equal pieces and roll into balls.
  • Use small cast iron fry pan- butter sides & bottom OR IF using cookie sheet, leave UNgreased.
  • Combine melted butter & seasonings, in a small bowl & LIBERALLY brush on the rolls (it will "pool" a bit around bottom of rolls). Brush w/seasoned butter 2ce more while baking. When tops are golden brown-they are done!
