Cedar Plank Salmon with Soy-Ginger Glaze image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 pounds Salmon fillet
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Bourbon (or white wine or whiskey)
2 teaspoons Fresh ginger (grated)
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Lemon juice (reserved)
2 pinches Fresh ground pepper

Steps:

  • Blend ingredients except salmon & lemon juice
  • Coat salmon in some glaze
  • Simmer remaining sauce over medium heat until reduced by half
  • Stir in lemon juice & serve with smoke-cooked fish
