CARMARGUE RED RICE (RIZ ROUGE) image

1 cup Carmargue red rice
2 cups water

Steps:

  • Bring to full boil to start. Stir. Simmer over low heat for 25-30 minutes until water is absorbed. Optional: wrap the rice and its cooking pot in a blanket and allow to rest while remaining warm for an hour or until the rest of the meal is ready.
