Cajun Chicken Linguine image

4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
8 ounce(s) linguine, cooked al dente
4 teaspoon(s) cajun seasoning of your choice
4 tablespoon(s) butter
2 - green onions, thinly sliced
2-4 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
4 tablespoon(s) sun-dried tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) dried basil
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1/2 cup(s) parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup(s) mushrooms

Steps:

  • Cut the chicken into thin strips and coat in a bowl with the Cajun seasoning.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, saute chicken and mushrooms in the butter until the chicken is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat and add green onions, heavy cream, tomatoes, basil, salt, garlic powder, black pepper and heat through.
  • Pour over hot linguine and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
