BUTTERCREAM FROSTING FOR SUGAR COOKIES image

Yield 5 dozen cookies

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 c. confectioners sugar
2 T. butter
½ t. vanilla (or almond extract)
2 T. milk (at most)
Food coloring

Steps:

  • Beat all ingredients together, adding in milk at end to reach desired consistency. Separate into small bowls and tint each with food coloring. Frost cookies, adding decorations before frosting is set.
