BUTTER AND HERB ROASTED RED ONIONS image

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 Med Red Onions
Peeled, cut vertically into six wedges within 1/2" of bottom
1/2 cup Butter (room tempurature)
4 TSP Minced Freesh Rosemary
1 TBSP Chopped Fresh Parsley
2 TBSP Lemon Juice

Steps:

  • - Position rack in the centre of the oven. Pre heat to 400F - Place onions on rimmed baking sheet - Open onion wedges to resemble flowers, but do not break off base - Melt butter and whisk in rosemary, parsley and lemon juice. - Season butter with salt and pepper - Brush some butter over the onions, roast until tender and beginning to char - Baste occasionally with more butter - Total cooking time about 1 hour
