BRUSSEL SPROUTS WITH MUSTARD SEED image

2 1/2 pounds fresh brussel sprouts, trimmed and crosscut in base
1/4 cup butter
2 TBS white mustard seed
(or 1 TBS each of white and brown)
1/4 cup French mustard
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Simmer brussel sprouts until crisp tender and drain. Stir together butter and mustard seed in heavy skillet until butter is browned Blend in mustard and brussel sprouts to butter mixture. Add salt and pepper. Stir until hot 2-3 minutes. serve
