Steps:
- Cube bread and brown in 4 tablespoons of butter. Sautee onions in 1 tablespoon butter. Place onion in large bowl. Add flour, bacon, parsley, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add milk and knead lightly. Add bread cubes and gently fold into dough. Let stand for 30 minutes. Simmer in salted water for about 20 minutes. Slice and serve with gravy.
