Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters image

These are better than "Oysters on the 1/2 shell with cocktial sauce & lemon juice". These are very simular to that taste, but you do it quickly like a shot & it just slides down your throat! YUM!

10 - shucked oysters, raw
1 cup(s) v-8
6 tablespoon(s) vodka
2 tablespoon(s) horseradish, prepared
1 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice, fresh
1/8 teaspoon(s) celery salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) tabasco

Steps:

  • TO SHUCK OYSTERS: Scrub oysters thoroughly & rinse under cold running water until all grit is removed. Shuck oysters (leaving the meat on the half shells); carefully cut the foot of each oyster with the shucking knife.
  • Combine v-8 juice & next 6 ingredients in a liquid measuring cup. Fill each of 10 shot glasses with 2 1/2 Tbsp juice mixture. Place the meat from one oyster in each glass. Discard shells.
