Whisk together 1 egg
2 tblsp. sour cream
1 cup water
1 cup whole milk
Filling
2 cartons farmers cheese
1 egg
1 heap tsp onion powder
1 tblsp salt
Mix

Steps:

  • Whisk the above ingredients adding, one cup at a time: 5 cups of flour(she uses King Arthur) knead it and pat into flat round cut into 4 pcs. Use little flour to roll out 1/8 thick and cut with coffee cup size round. put teaspoon of filling and crimp rounds closed. Drop in large pot of rapid boiling salted water. If they stick to bottom stir with end of wooden spoon. Take out after they come to the top for about 1 minute. Drain with slotted spoon and put on dish not touching each other. Fry onions in butter on skillet cut them very thin. Fry pierogi in pan electric griddle.
