Beef Noodle Casserole image

This easy casserole was always a favorite with my kids and their friends. Note: If you are in a hurry,you can substitute jarred spaghetti sauce for the homemade tomato sauce.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb ground beef
8 oz grated american cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 stalk(s) celery, chopped
1 can(s) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1/4 c sliced mushrooms
12 stuffed green olives, chopped
1 (6 oz.) can(s) tomato paste

8 oz egg noodles

Steps:

  • 1. Place beef, onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in a skillet.
  • 2. Cook on medium high until beef is done and veggies are soft.
  • 3. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 3 more minutes or until mushrooms are done.
  • 4. Meanwhile cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain
  • 5. Remove from the heat. Drain the excess grease.
  • 6. Combine the meat mixture, olives, https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/sauce-spread/other-sauce-spread/tasty-tomato-sauce.html, tomato paste, soup, and noodles. Mix gently.
  • 7. Place the mixture in a casserole dish. Top with the shredded cheese.
  • 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
