Bean salad image

My mama made bean salad every holiday and only on holidays and I loved it. Somehow I still do the same thing and only make it on holidays. Just sitting here thinking what a shame that is cause I could eat that stuff all day, it's sooo good.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 can(s) green beans, drained
1 can(s) wax beans, drained
1 can(s) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can(s) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 c diced bell pepper
1/4 c diced onion
DRESSING
1/2 c sugar
2/3 c vinegar
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients. Mix all dressing ingredients and pour over beans. Toss ingredients. Let marinate 4-24 hours and stir every so often.
