Steps:
- Heat oven to 300°F. In food processor, place basil and sugar. Cover; process on high speed until basil is finely chopped.
- In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat; stir in basil mixture, flour, salt and cinnamon. Stir in pecans and vanilla; remove from heat.
- Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls; flatten to 1/4-inch thickness with bottom of drinking glass.
- Bake 40 minutes or until golden. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
