Number Of Ingredients 5

1 quart(s) strawberries (hulled and cleaned)
4-6 - pork chops any cut)
1 cup(s) balsamic vinegar
2 - sliced onions
1/4 cup(s) powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Place strawberries in bowl with balsamic vinegar. Meanwhile salt and pepper porkchops, let sit for 15min then add pork chops to large ziplock bag and refriderate for at least an hour.
  • s&p and drizzel with olive oil chops. Place pork chops on grill pan and grill each side for nice grill marks. 2 min per side. In another pan boil your marinate making sure comes to full boil (remember had raw meat, but perfectly safe) You want to keep bubbleing for a good five min. Then turn to med to simmer for another 15min.
  • Meanwhile carmalize your sliced onions in butter, when starting to soften add powdered sugar. When finished add to strawberry reduction.
  • Place porkchops in 350 oven pour balsamic reduction over pork chops cover with foil and bake 20-30 min depending on size thermomitor should read 165. Flipping chops and brushing both sides of porkchops halfway thru bakeing time. When done let chops rest covered for 10 min. Serve with sides. I served with rice.
  • If your leary about the marinade it can be done same way but discard marinade from chops and make new reductions.
