Baked Macaroni and Cheese image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup macaroni, whole wheat or regular macaroni
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk, skim
1 cup cottage cheese, low-fat
1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded, extra-sharp
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon white pepper, ground
1 tablespoon bread crumbs, dried

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, without salt. Drain3. Combine macaroni with next 6 ingredients. Spoon into a 1-quart baking dish that has been wiped with a little bit of oil. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake for 1 hour.Food exchanges per 2/3-cup serving: 1 BREAD, 1½ medium-fat MEAT
