Baked Ginger Pears image

Delight in the sweet, gingery flavor of our Baked Ginger Pears. Add 1/2 cup of sliced almonds to this delectable dish for some extra crunchy ginger pears.

2 cans (15 oz. each) pear slices in juice, undrained
1 pkg. (1 oz.) JELL-O Cheesecake Flavor Sugar Free Fat Free Instant Pudding
3/4 tsp. ground ginger, divided
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
1-1/2 cups cold fat-free milk
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Drain pears, reserving 1/2 cup juice. Place pears in 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Combine dry pudding mix, 1/2 tsp. ginger and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon in large bowl. Add reserved pear juice and milk; beat with whisk 2 min. Pour over pears.
  • Toss nuts with remaining ginger and cinnamon in small bowl. Spray lightly with cooking spray; mix lightly. Sprinkle over pudding mixture.
  • Bake 25 min. or until heated through. Cool slightly.
